Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old to use Marggies Love Lounge. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 or older, legally able to enter into a binding agreement, and seeking meaningful connections through our matchmaking services.

You agree to provide accurate, truthful, and up-to-date information in your account and profile. Misrepresenting your identity, age, marital status, or intentions is prohibited and may result in immediate account deactivation.

To use the Platform's matchmaking features, you must register for an account and purchase a membership tier. Available tiers include Basic, Basic International, VIP (Nigeria), VIP (International), and Elite Matchmaking. Pricing is displayed on our Pricing page.

Registration alone does not activate your profile. Your profile becomes visible to other members only after you complete payment and your membership is confirmed.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Notify us immediately at info@marggieslovelounge.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

Each membership subscription includes one (1) match credit. A match credit is consumed when you and another member mutually express interest in each other, creating a match.

• You must have at least one match credit to express interest in another member's profile
• You must have at least one match credit to view your matches page
• You cannot purchase a new subscription while you still have an unused match credit
• Additional match credits may be granted at the discretion of our admin team

Marggies Love Lounge is a matchmaking platform. Members browse profiles, express interest, and are matched when interest is mutual.

Basic and Basic International members: when two members on a Basic tier mutually match and are of opposite sex, their phone numbers may be automatically revealed to each other. In-platform messaging is limited to three messages per match.

VIP and Elite Matchmaking members: when a premium tier member matches with any other member, contact details are not automatically shared. Our admin team will be notified and will personally connect both parties. Contact details are released only when our team determines it is appropriate. In-platform messaging is not available for these matches until contact is released.

Contact details are never shared without mutual interest. We do not guarantee that any match will lead to a relationship, marriage, or any specific outcome.

You agree to use the Platform respectfully and lawfully. You must not:

• Harass, threaten, abuse, or discriminate against other members
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent profile information or photos
• Use the Platform for commercial solicitation, spam, or scams
• Share another member's contact details publicly without their consent
• Attempt to bypass platform features, access other users' accounts, or interfere with Platform operations
• Use the Platform for any illegal purpose

You may report inappropriate behaviour through the Platform. We reserve the right to investigate reports and take action, including warning, suspending, or permanently deactivating accounts.

You retain ownership of content you upload (such as photos and profile text). By uploading content, you grant us a licence to display it on the Platform to other members according to your visibility settings and membership tier.

We may remove content or hide profiles that violate these Terms, receive multiple reports, or are flagged during verification. Admin users may send one-way messages to members for operational or safety purposes.

Membership fees are processed through our payment partners (Paystack and Flutterwave). All prices are displayed in Nigerian Naira (NGN) unless otherwise stated.

Refund eligibility depends on the service purchased and access already provided. Please refer to our Refund Policy for details. By completing a payment, you acknowledge that digital matchmaking services may not be eligible for refund once access has been granted.

By registering, you agree to receive transactional email notifications related to your account, including alerts when another member expresses interest in your profile. These emails are necessary to operate the service.

We do not send marketing emails or newsletters. For support, contact us at info@marggieslovelounge.com.

We may suspend or deactivate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, engage in harmful behaviour, or if required for platform safety. You may request account deactivation by contacting us.

Upon deactivation, your profile will no longer be visible to other members. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including payment obligations, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will continue to apply.

Marggies Love Lounge provides a matchmaking platform. We do not guarantee matches, relationships, or marriage outcomes. We are not responsible for the conduct of any member on or off the Platform.

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Marggies Love Lounge and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including interactions with other members.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid for membership in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
